Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years culinary experience
  • Preferably 2-4 years management experience
  • Culinary degree preferred or equivalent
  • Proficient with relevant culinary technology
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and quality standards

Job Qualifications

  • At least 5-10 years of culinary experience
  • 2-4 years in a culinary management role preferred
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • High-end culinary training for catering events preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of food profession principles and practices
  • Experience managing people and resolving problems
  • Technology savvy including MS Teams, Prima, Sysco
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee culinary production to align with the Executional Framework
  • Ensure culinary standards and techniques meet production, presentation, and service requirements
  • Manage and train culinary team including chef managers and hourly staff
  • Coach employees by creating clear performance expectations
  • Reward and recognize employee achievements
  • Plan and execute team meetings and daily huddles
  • Maintain all staff records including training, shift checklists, and performance data
  • Develop and maintain positive client and guest relationships
  • Interact directly with guests regularly
  • Communicate regional culinary and ingredient trends
  • Deliver food and labor targets focusing on margin improvement
  • Execute and deliver culinary products in line with daily menu
  • Maintain food quality, safety, and compliance with Aramark standards
  • Manage waste, standard menus, recipes, and ingredients
  • Oversee supply chain and procurement using authorized suppliers
  • Ensure accurate estimation of food consumption for requisitions
  • Manage equipment operation and maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality assurance, and occupational safety policies
  • Comply with all company policies, regulations, and legal requirements
