Job Description

Bethune-Cookman University, located in vibrant Daytona Beach, Florida, is an esteemed Historically Black College and University (HBCU) situated just two miles from the famous Daytona Beach and the Daytona International Speedway. The campus renowned for its rich traditions and commitment to excellence in education provides a nurturing and innovative environment for students. Employing a dedicated Food Service leadership team is integral to maintaining the high standards output expected by the university and SodexoMagic alike.

The role of Campus Executive Chef 3 at Bethune-Cookman University represents a vital leadership position within this rapidly expanding account. This executive role entails the comprehensive oversight of all culinary and back-of-house operations across the campus. The executive chef will be responsible for inspiring and managing a diverse culinary team, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality food offerings, and implementing Sodexo's culinary standards including recipe adherence, food safety, and sanitation compliance.

With significant renovations poised to enhance campus dining operations, the chosen Executive Chef will have a prime opportunity to exhibit their culinary expertise and innovative flair.   • minimum 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
