Job Requirements
- Have experience overseeing patient tray line
- Conduct FMS monitoring, audits, and menu implementations
- Responsible for food and physical safety training for hourly staff
- Conduct Gold Check audits and maintain audit documentation
- Handle procurement and vendor relations
- Conduct purchasing financial audits
- Standardize and improve catering and banquet services
- Implement innovative ideas in retail culinary operations
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum three years management experience in food or culinary services
- Experience in food production and culinary arts preferably in upscale restaurant, retail, or catering environment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in high-volume culinary operations
- Knowledge of menu planning and current culinary trends
- Proven ability to lead and develop culinary teams
- Familiarity with food cost management and inventory control
Job Duties
- Manage back-of-house operations for patient services and retail dining
- Oversee catering events including menu creation and service
- Order and maintain inventory to ensure adequate stock levels
- Train, develop, and supervise a team of 15-20 culinary associates
- Implement company policies and maintain high culinary and service standards
- Monitor food cost management, labor, purchasing, and forecasting
- Conduct and act upon Gold Check audits and ensure safety compliance
