This 478-bed adult hospital, complemented by a 154-bed children’s hospital, provides extensive patient meals, cafeteria services, clinical nutrition, and catering services. Job Requirements

  • Have experience overseeing patient tray line
  • Conduct FMS monitoring, audits, and menu implementations
  • Responsible for food and physical safety training for hourly staff
  • Conduct Gold Check audits and maintain audit documentation
  • Handle procurement and vendor relations
  • Conduct purchasing financial audits
  • Standardize and improve catering and banquet services
  • Implement innovative ideas in retail culinary operations

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum three years management experience in food or culinary services
  • Experience in food production and culinary arts preferably in upscale restaurant, retail, or catering environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience in high-volume culinary operations
  • Knowledge of menu planning and current culinary trends
  • Proven ability to lead and develop culinary teams
  • Familiarity with food cost management and inventory control

Job Duties

  • Manage back-of-house operations for patient services and retail dining
  • Oversee catering events including menu creation and service
  • Order and maintain inventory to ensure adequate stock levels
  • Train, develop, and supervise a team of 15-20 culinary associates
  • Implement company policies and maintain high culinary and service standards
