The role of Executive Chef 3 at Bridgeport Hospital is a pivotal culinary leadership position within Sodexo’s patient dining services. This position entails overseeing a sizeable team of 15-20 frontline staff members responsible for producing approximately 1,000 patient meals daily, supported by a hybrid room service model and zone delivery to ensure timely and efficient meal distribution. Beyond patient meals, the Executive Chef also manages retail dining options such as the Fresh Inspirations Cafeteria, Jazzmans Coffee Shop, and Pandinis Cafe, providing diverse culinary experiences for hospital visitors and employees. As the Executive Chef 3, you will be instrumental in managing daily food production, including planning, controls, and ensuring compliance with Sodexo’s high culinary standards. This includes strict oversight of recipe adherence, food quality, and safety measures, reflecting your passion for food and the culinary arts. You will be responsible for controlling food costs, inventory management, and menu development, always maintaining a strong focus on customer service excellence.
