Sodexo is currently seeking an Executive Chef 2 to join the team at the Milwaukee School of Engineering located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is integral to overseeing and managing dining programs campus-wide, encompassing resident dining, catering services, and a small retail operation. The Executive Chef will be responsible for much more than just culinary execution; they will act as a key leader shaping the dining experience for students and staff, promoting wellness, and ensuring Sodexo’s high culinary and operational standards are met consistently.

As an Executive Chef 2, the individual will lead all facets of dining management including purchasing, menu compliance, inventory control, food cost analysis, and production forecasting. The role demands a thorough understanding and implementation of Sodexo’s culinary standards to maintain quality and recipe compliance. A primary responsibility involves inspiring and motivating team members to embrace innovation in culinary techniques and menu offerings while upholding strict food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards. Familiarity and proficiency with automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems are essential to streamline operations and improve efficiency.   • minimum 2 years management experience
  • minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc
