Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum two years of management experience
  • Minimum two years of functional experience in food or culinary services
  • Ability to develop and motivate team members
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining culinary quality and regulatory compliance

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Two years of management experience
  • Two years of work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • Strong culinary background with knowledge of current culinary trends
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong coaching and employee development skills
  • Passion for food and innovation

Job Duties

  • Be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
  • Ensure Sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
  • Have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
  • Ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
  • Have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
  • Order supplies and track meals
  • Manage expenses and maintain budgetary constraints
  • Train and develop culinary staff
  • Maintain regulatory compliance
  • Build and lead a cohesive culinary team
