Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years management experience
- Minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
- Strong culinary background
- Proven leadership abilities
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years of management experience in food or culinary services
- Proven leadership in training, mentoring, and developing kitchen teams
- Deep understanding of food safety, allergens, and special dietary needs
- Excellent organizational, communication, and cost control skills
- Experience in high-volume, fast-paced culinary environments
- Passion for student-focused service, food innovation, and team success
Job Duties
- Oversee all culinary operations for State Quad, ensuring Sodexo's standards for recipe compliance, food quality, and safety are met
- Train, coach, and develop a large culinary team to maintain excellence and consistency
- Manage purchasing, inventory, food cost analysis, and production forecasting
- Lead menu development, including allergy-friendly and special diet offerings
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP, sanitation, and workplace safety protocols
- Drive a culture of culinary innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement
