Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years management experience
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday
  • Willingness to lead and mentor a culinary team
  • Strong culinary skills in diverse cuisines including Asian
  • Ability to adapt to food trends and innovation
  • Full-time availability

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years management experience
  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • Strong knowledge of food, cooking methods, and food terminology
  • Proven ability to design and implement innovative menus
  • Experience maintaining quality and consistency in high-volume culinary operations
  • Ability to analyze and control costs effectively
  • Strong leadership and team motivation skills
  • Familiarity with contemporary food trends and techniques

Job Duties

  • Ensure all food always looks and tastes great and is visually appetizing when served
  • Demonstrate strong all-round culinary ability and craft skills including main courses, salads, sauce work, pastry and baking
  • Prepare and cook authentic Asian cuisines including Indian, Thai, Vietnamese, and Chinese
  • Recognize and react to contemporary food trends
  • Use correct food terminology and cooking methods
  • Continuously seek new ideas, recipes and initiatives to improve food quality and service
  • Play a key role in mentoring culinary personnel with enthusiasm
