Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years management experience in food or culinary services
  • At least two years functional experience in food service operations including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • Ability to develop trust and strong client relationships
  • Strong knowledge of compliance, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
  • Exceptional supervisory and management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Passion for high-level customer service and relationship orientation
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management experience

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Two years of management experience in food or culinary services
  • Two years of functional experience working in restaurants, catering, institutional services, or related food service environments
  • Strong culinary background with artistic flair
  • Experience in retirement communities, corporate dining, country clubs, or fine dining
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
  • Demonstrated supervisory and mentoring skills
  • Excellent professional communication skills
  • Hands-on and innovative leadership style
  • Strong financial management skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee the daily dining operations including menu planning and controls
  • Ensure Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality
  • Maintain high expectations for quality of food and presentation
  • Develop and train cooks
  • Manage food safety, sanitation, and compliance standards
  • Lead and mentor a culinary team of 25 hourly employees
  • Collaborate with management to achieve financial performance goals
