The Executive Chef role at LifeWorks Restaurant Group is a key management position responsible for overseeing both chef managers and hourly culinary staff. This role demands a dynamic leader who can develop and execute diverse culinary solutions tailored to meet the tastes and requirements of a wide-ranging client base. The Executive Chef drives the culinary operations to achieve excellence in production, presentation, and service standards. An important aspect of the role is applying advanced culinary techniques and ensuring the final presentation and service of food meet the highest standards. This position is salaried, with compensation ranging from $100,000 to $115,000, reflecting the seniority and breadth of responsibility the role encompasses.

In this role, the Executive Chef will ensure that all culinary production aligns with the company's Executional Framework and maintains proper culinary standards. Managing a team effectively is crucial, including training, coaching, and rewarding staff to promote best practices in food production. The Executive Chef will facilitate strong client and guest relations by engaging directly with guests and fostering business partnerships. Financial acumen is also essential, as the role involves managing food and labor cost targets, optimizing margins, and understanding key performance metrics and inventory trends.

Furthermore, the Executive Chef is responsible for upholding food safety and quality standards as established by Aramark SAFE food protocols and Quality Assurance standards, along with compliance with occupational and environmental safety regulations. The position requires a hands-on leader who understands the end-to-end supply chain and procurement processes, ensuring authorized suppliers are utilized. Additional duties include conducting team meetings, managing staff records, and maintaining operational excellence fundamentals such as controlling waste and adhering to standardized recipes and menus.
