We are currently seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team of award-winning chefs and dining management professionals at Ann's Choice. This role offers a unique opportunity for a culinary leader passionate about great food, teamwork, and innovation to bring their talents to a community dedicated to excellence in senior living hospitality. The Executive Chef will play a crucial role in driving our innovative Signature Menu Dining Programs, which emphasize from-scratch cooking and chef-inspired culinary creations designed to delight our residents. Starting salary is commensurate with experience beginning at $85,000 per year, along with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

The Executive Chef will oversee all aspects of food production within the community, ensuring exceptional efficiency, quality, and consistency from purchasing and receiving to storage, preparation, and final plate presentation, all while adhering to established budget guidelines. This role requires a strong background in hospitality and culinary management, including supervision and support of food production staff and ensuring compliance with sanitation standards and food safety regulations such as Health Department guidelines and HACCP protocols. The Executive Chef will implement and maintain core menus, manage recipe systems, operate back-of-house computer systems, and perform monthly internal sanitation audits to uphold the highest kitchen standards.

Additionally, the Executive Chef will actively engage with residents through regular dining room visits and meetings to build meaningful relationships and gather feedback, fostering a welcoming and community-centered dining experience. Candidates with fine dining experience and knowledge of contemporary a la carte and catering trends will find this role particularly fulfilling, as attention to food cost controls, production, sanitation, and presentation are key to maintaining our distinguished culinary reputation.

We offer PTO, paid volunteer hours, a 401(k) plan with company match, and even on-site medical centers and well-being resources for team members and their families.
