The Executive Chef role at Aramark is a critical management position responsible for overseeing culinary operations and managing culinary teams, including chef managers and hourly kitchen staff. This role focuses on developing and executing innovative culinary solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs and tastes of Aramark's customers and clients. The Executive Chef drives quality by applying advanced culinary techniques, ensuring outstanding presentation and service, and maintaining strict adherence to food safety and quality standards.
As an Executive Chef, you will play a key role in managing all culinary activities to meet production, presentation, and service goals effectively. The role requires detailed oversight of culinary production standards within the Executional Framework, ensuring proper use of recipes, standard menus, and ingredients, alongside managing food safety compliance according to Aramark SAFE food and Quality Assurance standards.
In addition to culinary management, the Executive Chef will oversee labor and food cost targets to support margin improvements. This includes analyzing performance metrics, inventory trends, and conducting accurate food consumption estimates for purchasing. Operational excellence is essential, involving waste management, equipment maintenance, and consistent adherence to procurement processes, ensuring only approved suppliers are utilized.
The Executive Chef will also actively engage with guests to build effective rapport and gather feedback, contributing to an enhanced customer experience. Continuous communication of regional culinary and ingredient trends helps keep Aramark's food offerings fresh and competitive in the marketplace.
This position is ideal for a dynamic culinary professional with at least four years of hands-on culinary experience, including at least two years in a management role.
