Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as an executive chef or similar leadership role within a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Extensive background in fine dining cuisine with an emphasis on food presentation and culinary innovation
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience managing culinary teams across multiple shifts
  • Strong knowledge of food production, inventory management, and cost control
  • Familiarity with catering operations and large-scale menu planning
  • Solid understanding of food safety standards including ServSafe certification
  • Experience in menu planning balancing creativity with efficiency considering dietary restrictions

Job Duties

  • Lead the culinary team in preparing high-quality dishes that meet industry standards and customer expectations, emphasizing fine dining and catering excellence
  • Develop innovative menus that reflect current trends, seasonal ingredients, and dietary requirements while maintaining cost efficiency
  • Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality
  • Manage inventory control and food production processes to minimize waste and optimize food costs without compromising quality
  • Oversee all aspects of food safety compliance, including sanitation practices, proper handling procedures, and adherence to health regulations
  • Supervise staff scheduling, shift management, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled team environment
  • Oversee banquet services for our event rooms, hosting functions of up to 200 guests with attention to detail
  • Maintain a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, leadership development, and continuous improvement
