The Executive Chef role, based onsite in Omaha, Nebraska, at the College of St. Mary, offers a dynamic opportunity for a seasoned culinary professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality, safe, and delicious food to college communities. This full-time position plays a pivotal role in overseeing the entire food production process, ensuring that all standards of quality, sanitation, and customer satisfaction are met consistently. The executive chef is entrusted with supervising daily kitchen operations, including purchasing, menu development, standardized recipe creation, food preparation, and service standards. This role also entails participation in the planning and execution of special events that require culinary excellence and creativity.
The successful candidate will have at least three years of progressive culinary experience, a proficiency in Microsoft software programs, and experience handling budget statements. An associate's degree in culinary arts is desirable but not mandatory.
