Grand Living is transforming the senior living experience by redefining how generations embrace life, quickly becoming an iconic brand in senior hospitality. The company started with a visionary goal to create distinctive senior living communities, which has blossomed into a vibrant collection of remarkable residences that blend luxury-inspired amenities with exceptional service. These communities offer gracious apartments featuring stunning décor and design excellence at every turn. However, the true luxury at Grand Living is found beyond the beautiful architecture – it lies within our people. Our team offers unparalleled commitment to personal service, catering to every engagement with professionalism and care, which is central to the unique lifestyle we provide for our residents and their guests.
Grand Living is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where differences are celebrated and supported, ensuring that each resident enjoys their life uniquely embraced. Our communities are designed to meet diverse needs through exquisite dining options, wellness amenities, and specialized memory care programs extended with warmth and dignity. As a high-end, upscale establishment, Grand Living provides an environment where staff and residents alike enjoy high standards of hospitality.
About the Position
The Executive Chef at Grand Living plays a vital role in enhancing the overall resident experience by providing exceptional culinary oversight, training kitchen personnel, and directing all menu offerings across multiple dining venues. These venues include Bistro, Casual, Formal dining, Luminations memory care, and the Club Room, alongside catering special events and private functions. The Executive Chef ensures that all culinary services reflect The Sterling Touch® standard, characterized by professionalism, friendliness, courteousness, helpfulness, and prompt service. This dedication leads to a consistently high satisfaction level for residents and their guests. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Executive Chef operates in accordance with community standards, policies, procedures, and philosophies to maintain excellence in food quality and service.
This role demands experienced leadership, creativity in menu development, and the ability to manage kitchen teams effectively within an upscale senior living community. The Executive Chef is not only a culinary expert but also a mentor who fosters growth and development among kitchen employees. The position requires maintaining high safety and sanitation standards, managing food procurement, and working closely with management to tailor dining services to resident preferences and nutritional needs.
Grand Living offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package tailored for full-time employees. The benefits include a generous Paid Time Off program, affordable insurance options (medical, dental, vision), a 401(k) plan with company match, and automatic life insurance with additional employee assistance programs. Employees enjoy an upscale working environment that includes exquisite cuisine, free employee meals (subject to eligibility), and access to spa and fitness facilities. This is a full-time, permanent position that presents a unique opportunity for skilled culinary professionals who want to make a meaningful impact in senior hospitality while working in an elegant and supportive setting.
