Job Description

Metz Culinary Management is currently hiring an Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at McLennan Community College in Waco, TX. This position offers a salary range of $55,000 to $60,000 and features a work schedule that primarily runs during daytime hours from Monday through Friday, supporting an excellent work-life balance. The Executive Chef will oversee food preparation and presentation across multiple dining outlets in a high-volume, fast-paced institutional setting. Ideal candidates will possess a strong culinary background with at least 3-5 years of supervisory experience as an Executive or Sous Chef, preferably in institutional or multi-outlet environments such as hospitals, schools, colleges, senior living facilities, or corporate dining. The role focuses on leadership with a mentoring management style and requires skilled communication, strong restaurant management expertise, innovative menu planning with stunning presentation, and catering experience. Educational qualifications include a culinary degree, which is strongly preferred.
