We are seeking a dynamic and highly hands-on Executive Chef to lead all culinary operations within a client facility. This is an exceptional opportunity for a results-driven, creative, and operationally strong leader passionate about delivering outstanding dining experiences and developing high-performing culinary teams. The Executive Chef role is integral in elevating food quality, innovation, and guest satisfaction by partnering closely with hospitality leadership to deliver a best-in-class culinary program. This position involves a blend of hands-on leadership and strategic management, requiring the chef to be present during service, actively cooking and supporting the kitchen line, while also dedicating time to administrative responsibilities such as ordering, inventory management, scheduling, and labor planning. With approximately 10 hours per week focused on administration, the remainder of the role centers on ensuring top-tier food consistency, safety, and creativity in menu development and special event execution.
The successful candidate will have at least seven years of culinary experience, including three or more years in senior leadership roles such as Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef. They will possess a strong culinary foundation with expertise in diverse cuisines, ideally backed by certifications like ACF or CIA. The Executive Chef must demonstrate proven skills in team leadership, driving performance, managing high-volume service environments, and executing menus with cost controls in mind. ServSafe certification and a thorough knowledge of food safety are essential. The ideal leader is not only creative and adaptable but also guest-focused with a deep passion for hospitality. This role thrives in fast-paced, physically demanding environments, requiring stamina, decisiveness, and excellent multitasking capabilities. Job Duties
- Lead all daily kitchen operations ensuring top-tier food quality consistency and food safety standards
- Drive menu development utilizing current vendor partnerships while bringing fresh innovative ideas to the program
- Oversee and execute special events and private dining experiences with a high level of detail and creativity
- Maintain a strong presence on the line actively cooking and supporting expo during high-volume service periods
- Recruit develop train and inspire a high-performing culinary team
- Manage production inventory sourcing and cost controls to ensure operational efficiency
- Partner with client teams and cross-functional leadership to deliver an outstanding hospitality experience
- Stay ahead of culinary trends and continuously enhance the program with new concepts and offerings
