Job Requirements
- 2+ years of senior culinary leadership experience as an executive chef in respected restaurants and boutique properties or 4+ years as a chef de cuisine or executive sous chef leading a high volume operation
- Boutique hotel luxury hotel or Forbes starred experience
- Background in restaurants required ideally with some acclaim such as James Beard or Michelin
- Familiarity and/or love for Midwest
- Experience in managing inventory and cost controls
- Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
- Flexibility and adaptability to the property’s needs as they arise
- Passion for both food and guest satisfaction
- Flexible schedule including weekends and on holidays

Job Duties
- Elevate and drive culinary program forward including seasonal menu updates scratch programs and finding unique local purveyors
- Maintain a positive work environment through effective professional communication with other employees and managers
- Lead mentor and train a strong team
- Handle administrative tasks such as ordering inventory scheduling etc
- Proactively manage costs and labor
- Ensure best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen
