Job Requirements

  • valid food handlers card
  • servsafe food safety manager certificate preferred
  • ability to lead and mentor a culinary team
  • knowledge of food safety regulations
  • experience in senior living or hospitality industry preferred
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • commitment to company culture and values

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of 5 years of experience in executive chef or equivalent culinary leadership roles
  • strong leadership and team development skills
  • experience with menu planning and recipe creation
  • knowledge of dietary requirements and healthcare cuisine
  • ability to maintain food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • experience with budget management and operational oversight

Job Duties

  • champion company culture by ingraining mission, vision, and core values into all aspects of the role
  • build strong relationships with residents and team members through empathy and genuine communication
  • maintain visible leadership presence in dining venues during key meal periods
  • oversee back-of-house culinary functions including recipe creation, menu planning, catering, and healthcare cuisine
  • train, coach, and mentor culinary staff ensuring skill development and adherence to policies
  • maintain exemplary results on corporate assessments, satisfaction surveys, and health inspections
  • collaborate with leadership to develop and manage departmental budgets and control costs
