The role available at True Food Kitchen is a dynamic and leadership-focused position designed for experienced hospitality professionals passionate about delivering exceptional service and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will partner closely with front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) leadership teams to maximize sales and profitability by effectively managing profit and loss statements, inventory controls, and cash flow. This position requires hands-on leadership in high-volume service settings, ensuring flawless food quality, compelling presentation, and memorable guest interactions. The candidate will conduct regular operational checks including line checks and facility walkthroughs to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations. A significant component of the job is to lead the recruitment, training, and scheduling of team members, as well as mentoring and fostering development to build capable, motivated, and accountable teams. The role also includes a strong focus on coaching managers and key hourly employees to create clear career pathways within the company. Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of management experience in high-volume, full-service restaurant settings
  • strong budgeting and forecasting skills

Job Duties

  • Partner with FOH & BOH leadership to maximize sales and profitability through strong P&L, inventory, and cash flow management
  • lead high-volume service from the floor or expo, ensuring flawless food quality, presentation, and guest interaction
  • conduct line checks, facility walks, and follow-ups to maintain operational excellence
  • oversee EcoSure & Health inspections to guarantee a safe, compliant kitchen
  • manage, develop, and inspire FOH & BOH teams in partnership with the General Manager including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management
  • dedicate significant time in the kitchen to hands-on leadership and team development ensuring consistency, growth, and excellence across all stations
  • create pathways for growth by coaching and mentoring managers and key hourly team members
