Job Requirements

  • 5 plus years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • Current ServSafe certification
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environments
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours and events as needed

Job Qualifications

  • 5 plus years of kitchen management or executive chef experience
  • Bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • Experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues required
  • Extensive experience in banquet style events
  • Experience managing and developing teams
  • Current ServSafe certification
  • ServSafe instructor certification or ability to be certified preferred

Job Duties

  • Adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • Maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • Collaborate with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events including food and beverage preparation, service, and cleanup
  • Estimate food consumption and make purchases based on specified food programs
  • Schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume shifts
  • Recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff including sous chefs and lead cooks
  • Ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • Supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
  • Facilitate and manage kitchen equipment maintenance and sanitation audits to comply with department of health regulations
  • Report critical issues to the General Manager
