Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of chef or kitchen leadership experience or equivalent
  • strong knowledge of food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen operations
  • ability to lead a team, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
  • ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification or ability to obtain
  • ability to work in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat, equipment, and noise
  • ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
  • availability to work full-time including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Plan, prepare, and serve meals in accordance with menus and quality standards
  • order, receive, and manage inventory
  • submit invoices and receipts accurately and timely
  • develop and post weekly menus as directed
  • maintain kitchen cleanliness and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • support hiring, training, and daily oversight of kitchen staff
  • monitor food costs and support budget adherence
  • build positive relationships with clients, residents, and stakeholders
  • assist with special events and perform general kitchen duties as needed
