The establishment prides itself on creating an inclusive, diverse workplace where every employee feels respected and valued for their ideas and contributions. Bamboo Sushi believes in equal pay, rights, and opportunities for advancement for all team members, promoting a progressive and supportive work environment. Joining Bamboo Sushi means becoming part of a team dedicated to sustainability, quality, and community engagement while pursuing culinary innovation and career growth. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence the restaurant’s vision and operational practices positively and to contribute to a workplace culture that values creativity, respect, and collaboration.

As an Executive Chef, you will oversee all food preparation and kitchen management duties, ensuring optimal performance through leadership and meticulous quality control. Your responsibilities will encompass supervising dish portions and presentation to guarantee consistency with Bamboo Sushi’s standards, hiring and training kitchen staff to build a strong and efficient team, and managing the profitability of kitchen operations through careful oversight of resources and costs. The role requires at least five years of related culinary experience and two or more years of management experience in a high-volume, full-service kitchen environment. Sushi experience is preferred, making familiarity with this cuisine a valuable asset. The Executive Chef is expected to uphold Bamboo Sushi’s mission and values by fostering a positive workplace atmosphere and accountability among team members.
