CAPTAIN PAUL'S CAJUN SEAFOOD is a dedicated restaurant located in Corpus Christi, TX, known for delivering authentic Cajun flavors and an exceptional dining experience. We are currently seeking a full-time, on-site Executive Chef to join our culinary team in Corpus Christi, TX. The Executive Chef will play a crucial leadership role in crafting and executing a menu that reflects the restaurant's dedication to quality and authenticity. This role requires maintaining high food quality standards, supervising and training kitchen staff, and ensuring that all sanitation protocols are strictly adhered to. Additionally, the Executive Chef will be responsible for managing inventory, controlling food costs, and collaborating with restaurant management to innovate new dishes and refine existing menu items. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for Cajun cuisine, bringing creativity and expertise to maintain a positive and team-oriented kitchen environment. The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while upholding the highest standards of food safety and flavor excellence is essential for success in this position. Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent education/training is preferred but not required
  • previous experience in a similar role as an executive chef or sous chef
  • strong leadership skills
  • knowledge of Cajun cuisine
  • ability to manage and train kitchen staff
  • experience with food safety and sanitation standards
  • proficiency in inventory and cost control
  • excellent organizational and communication skills
