Job Requirements

  • Bs degree in culinary science or a related certificate is a plus
  • minimum of two years of industry experience within a recognized food service establishment
  • proven experience as a chef in similar roles preferably private household or hotel setting
  • ability to obtain and maintain clearance
  • us citizenship is required
  • verification of employment eligibility in the United States is required
  • basic computer skills and computational ability
  • ability to handle emergency situations with accuracy and speed

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a chef in a similar position preferably in a hotel setting and private household
  • comprehensive understanding of various cooking methods regional cuisines ingredients equipment and procedures
  • minimum of two years of industry experience within a recognized food service establishment
  • ability to handle emergency situations with accuracy and speed providing effective solutions
  • familiarity with industry best practices basic computational ability and basic computer skills
  • culinary certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Plan menus
  • purchase ingredients
  • prepare and serve meals for the primary residence ensuring dietary requirements are met
  • prepare meals for private dinners and special events at the primary residence
  • provide on-call catering services as needed at the residence or other venues
  • maintain kitchen organization and cleanliness
  • manage food inventory and ordering
