Job Requirements

  • Ability to learn, grow and evolve
  • Experience leading a full scratch kitchen in a senior living or similar setting
  • Ability to manage fixed food, labor, and product costs
  • Capacity to lead kitchen operations to execute flawless dishes on schedule
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships with staff, guests, and residents
  • Passionate about service and exceptional culinary experiences
  • Must pass criminal background check and health screening including physical and TB tests
  • Willingness to comply with health and safety protocols including vaccination, screening, and use of personal protective equipment as required by Oakmont Management Group

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading a full scratch kitchen as an executive chef, kitchen manager, or executive sous chef
  • Demonstrated ability to craft seasonally curated and guest-focused menus
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of managing food, labor, and product costs
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Familiarity with contemporary culinary tools and technology
  • Passion for delivering exceptional food experiences
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Lead the development and execution of seasonally curated menus
  • Manage and oversee kitchen operations including food preparation and labor
  • Maintain and control fixed food, labor, and product costs
  • Create and foster positive relationships with kitchen staff, guests, and residents
  • Ensure timely and flawless execution of dishes
  • Utilize next-generation kitchen technology to improve efficiency and quality
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
