Job Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in food production or management
  • Serve Safe certification or willingness to become certified within 90 days
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation, dining room service etiquette, and health department regulations
  • Ability to manage daily dining services operations
  • Strong leadership and inter-personal skills
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local sanitation requirements
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years' previous experience in food production/management
  • Must have a Serve Safe certification or become certified within 90 days of hire date
  • Must have basic knowledge of food preparation procedures, proper dining room service etiquette, as well as related Health Department regulations and guidelines pertaining to food service operations

Job Duties

  • Oversight and responsibility for daily operations of our Dining Services Department
  • Hiring, training, and development of staff in conjunction with your leadership team
  • Responsible for the overall financial and operational functions related to dining room service and culinary operations
  • Creates and plans weekly menus for the Community
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local sanitation regulations
  • Conducts routine safety inspections of dining room, food storage areas, chemical storage areas, and food receiving area
