Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience
  • Minimum 3 years of functional culinary experience
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with local purveyors and farmers
  • Culinary expertise in food preparation and cooking methods with an emphasis on hearth techniques

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage the kitchen team
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and inspire a cohesive culinary team to maintain high standards of professionalism and productivity
  • Create and evolve the menu, incorporating hearth cooking techniques, seasonal ingredients, and aligning with the restaurant's vision
  • Maintain food safety, cleanliness, kitchen organization, and health code compliance
  • Manage food and labor costs, analyze reports, and ensure profitability
  • Partner with management to align culinary direction with business goals and contribute to a positive guest experience
