Job Requirements
- Must work varied event-driven hours including nights, weekends, holidays
- culinary degree preferred or equivalent experience
- experience in high-volume food service management
- knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and beverage service codes
- current valid driver’s license
- ability to obtain necessary food production management certifications
- ability to obtain ServSafe certification
- effective oral and written communication skills
- basic math skills including percentages, measurements, and inventory calculations
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- ability to comply with health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree preferred or five years' food and beverage or culinary management experience
- experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, POS systems, and digital menu boards
- knowledge of supervisory principles and practices
- ability to work an event-driven schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- strong customer focus and communication skills
- integrity and trustworthiness
- teamwork and leadership abilities
Job Duties
- Develop and design innovative menus that complement the theater's performances
- oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring food safety and sanitation
- manage and mentor kitchen staff promoting teamwork
- implement control measures for portions, inventory, and waste
- monitor food inventory and order supplies maintaining cost control
- collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure exceptional guest service
- conduct training sessions for kitchen staff on food preparation and safety
