The Executive Chef position at the Kessler Collection offers a compelling career opportunity for experienced culinary professionals seeking to lead within a luxury hospitality environment. This role commands significant responsibility for coordinating, supervising, and directing all activities within the Culinary Department, including the training and development of chefs, cooks, and kitchen workers. The Executive Chef ensures efficient and profitable food service operations characterized by high levels of guest and employee satisfaction. This leadership position encompasses oversight of all food preparation and support areas, driving food quality, sanitation standards, and innovative culinary programs.

Duties include developing menus, recipe cards, and build cards; interacting with guests to exceed expectations; ensuring readiness for daily functions and outlet operations including breakfast, lunch, and dinner; and maintaining stringent food quality control and cleanliness to comply with health codes and brand standards. The Executive Chef plays a pivotal role in inventory management, staffing schedules, and financial monitoring of food and banquet services.

Job Requirements
- Culinary degree or equivalent training in hospitality or restaurant industry
- minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in similar role
- Food Safety Manager Certification preferred or to be obtained within 30 days

Job Duties
- Develop menus, recipe cards, and build cards

- participate in and submit accurate food inventories monthly
- assist in monitoring revenue and expense forecasting for food and banquet departments
- assist in production of menus, food products, order scheduling, and receiving
- be familiar with and adhere to company product and food specifications

- arrange and conduct monthly meetings for the Culinary Department
