Job Requirements
- High school diploma required
- strong communication skills including ability to read, write, and speak English
- basic computer skills
- associate's degree in culinary arts or hospitality management preferred
- commensurate experience considered in lieu of degree
- Food Service Safe Certification (CPFS) preferred
- able to exert up to 50lbs occasionally, 20lbs frequently, and 10lbs constantly

Job Duties
- Assist with creating patient and retail service standards and ensuring they are met
- Conduct sanitation and performance audits consistently per departmental frequencies
- Identify staff learning needs and direct training processes
- Follow purchasing agreements and assist with compliance audits
- Direct patient non-interactive positions such as storeroom clerks and cooks
- Maintain regulatory compliance and infection control practices
- Maintain communication with staff and customers regarding service levels and promote patient satisfaction
- Conduct frequent patient rounding and visitations
- Ensure regulatory standards are met in nutrition programs and coordinate with other departments
- Maintain adequate staffing reflecting cost efficiency and manage staff performance
- Conduct job shadowing audits and provide coaching for training efficacy
- Collaborate in menu development prioritizing culinary excellence, innovation, sustainability, and waste reduction
- Participate in hospital committees
- Oversee and plan menus for special events and catering
- Travel to other campuses as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
