Sodexo is looking to fill the role of Executive Chef 1, a position that is instrumental in shaping the culinary experiences within this high-profile corporate setting.
The Executive Chef 1 will play a pivotal leadership role, working closely with the Campus Executive Chef to oversee daily culinary operations across multiple service platforms. This is a hands-on leadership position where approximately 80 percent of the role involves direct involvement in food preparation and kitchen management. Key responsibilities include managing and mentoring a team of seven hourly culinary staff, ensuring food quality, presentation, safety, and sanitation meet Sodexo's high standards. Additionally, the Executive Chef 1 will assist with scheduling, ordering, inventory management, and catering production, helping to deliver consistent and innovative menu execution.

Compensation for this role is competitive and will be determined based on education, experience, and skill level. Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum two years of management experience
- Minimum one year of work experience in food or culinary services
- Ability to work primarily Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Occasional availability for evening catering events
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum two years of management experience
- Minimum one year of work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, or mall food courts
- Passionate about food and hospitality
