Job Requirements

  • passion for culinary arts, creativity and a strong production culinary background
  • previous experience in healthcare, senior living or hotel settings
  • strong knowledge of compliance to food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standards
  • experience in high-end catering preferred
  • culinary degree is desired
  • certified executive chef (C.E.C.) preferred

Job Qualifications

  • associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • at least 2 years of management experience
  • minimum 1 year of work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering, institutional services, or mall food courts
  • culinary degree desired
  • certified executive chef (C.E.C.) preferred
  • strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • experience in healthcare, senior living, or hotel culinary settings
  • bilingual abilities considered a plus

Job Duties

  • manage the food production for residents with a strong focus on residents well-being
  • demonstrate experience supervising a culinary team and possess a hands-on innovative leadership approach to management
  • oversee the food service operations budget
  • build strong client relationships while meeting the expectations of the client and Sodexo
  • ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
  • plan and execute high-volume catering events
  • innovate menu planning to meet diverse nutritional needs
