The EVS (Environmental Services) Worker role at Aramark is an essential position aimed at maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in client facilities, including hospitals and other healthcare environments. This particular role is designated for the night shift, running from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., five days per week with two consecutive days off, eligible for a shift differential. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred
  • Ability to follow safety protocols including OSHA regulations
  • Physical ability to lift bend push pull walk and stand for extended periods
  • Availability to work night shift from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. five days per week
  • Willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and positive customer service attitude

Job Duties

  • Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including aligning with OSHA state local federal and Aramark regulations
  • Performs cleaning and sanitizing of patient or resident rooms that may include vacuuming high and low dusting bed making and stripping and removal of general and hazardous waste
  • Cleans restrooms following proper infection control procedures
  • Accurately maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment
  • Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements
  • Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
  • Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
  • Maintains friendly efficient positive customer service demeanor toward customers clients patients and co-workers
  • Secures the facility ensuring building is locked or unlocked as required
  • Ensures security of company assets
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
