Job Description

Urban Air Adventure Parks is the leading indoor adventure park operator globally, headquartered in Dallas. As a market leader in location-based entertainment, Urban Air has pioneered the adventure park concept, creating unique and thrilling experiences designed to inspire fun and challenge for all ages. The company’s core mission is to help kids have fun and aim higher, pushing boundaries and achieving things previously thought impossible. Urban Air Waterbury, a part of this expansive brand, upholds these same values and has established itself as a vibrant destination where guests of all ages can celebrate life’s moments through exciting attractions and engaging events.

The role of Events/Sales Consultant at Urban Air is pivotal to achieving the company’s commitment to delivering extraordinary guest experiences. This position acts as the first point of contact for clients interested in hosting events at the park, such as birthday parties, church gatherings, sports team celebrations, corporate team-building, and other group activities. As an Events/Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for designing tailored packages that combine food, drinks, and access to various park attractions to create memorable and seamless events. Given the fast-paced and dynamic environment of a family entertainment center, this role requires someone who thrives on interaction, multi-tasking, and delivering personalized service.

Successful candidates will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and exhibit an outgoing and personable nature. The ability to actively prospect and build relationships through outbound efforts is essential, allowing for the continual growth of event bookings and brand awareness. The consultant will frequently engage with local organizations, attend community and chamber events, and leverage networking to generate leads. A key aspect of the role is responding promptly to customer inquiries and leads to secure bookings and ensure long-term customer satisfaction.

Working at Urban Air means being part of a team that values energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. The consultant should embody the spirit of fun and excitement when interacting with guests, ensuring that the Urban Air brand is represented with passion and integrity. A strong emphasis is placed on teamwork, safety, and maintaining a well-kept environment where guests can enjoy their experiences fully.

Beyond sales, the position involves collaborating with the park team to implement events successfully and contribute to the overall operational success of the park. The role requires a proactive approach—identifying opportunities, solving problems, and supporting colleagues to create a winning atmosphere. The company culture promotes personal development and career growth, giving team members the chance to expand their sales skills and take part in an exhilarating business model with unlimited earning potential. Compensation includes a base salary plus commission, highlighting the rewards available for driven and goal-oriented individuals.

Urban Air Waterbury operates in a business casual work environment with shifts including weekends and evenings to accommodate peak visitor times. Joining Urban Air means becoming part of a family entertainment leader committed to equal employment opportunities and a safer, more enjoyable world of fun. If you are a go-getter who loves to connect, sell, and celebrate success among a community of like-minded professionals, this opportunity is an excellent fit.
