Job Description

FedEx Office is a prominent leader in the retail and business services sector, known for its wide range of print, digital, and office solutions tailored to meet the needs of various industries. As a subsidiary of Federal Express Corporation, FedEx Office has established a strong market presence with hundreds of locations across the United States, providing customers with convenient access to high-quality printing, copying, and shipping services. This company prides itself on its commitment to customer satisfaction, innovation, and reliable service, making it a trusted partner for both individual consumers and corporate clients. FedEx Office combines the convenience of retail locations with the efficiency and expertise of a dedicated team, ensuring seamless service for all customer needs.

The company is currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join their team as an Events Solutions Consultant (ESC) based in Orlando, FL. This role is pivotal within the Hospitality & Conventions (HC) segment, where the consultant acts as a sales expert and advisor specifically working within hotel and convention center venues. The ESC is responsible for developing and nurturing strong relationships with hotel and convention venue personnel, particularly within the sales and event services departments. This position demands a proactive approach to achieving and exceeding sales targets while delivering exceptional customer service throughout all stages of client engagement, including pre-event planning and post-event follow-ups.

The Events Solutions Consultant functions with minimal supervision and plays a crucial role in bridging FedEx Office’s services to clients within the hospitality industry. Daily tasks involve direct customer interaction, including local sales calls, face-to-face meetings, and digital communication channels such as phone and email. The ESC collaborates extensively with store managers, vendors, and FedEx Office team members to ensure that business objectives are met and that clients receive top-tier service and support.

This is a full-time position offering competitive pay ranging from $21.14 to $29.59 per hour. The role includes varied responsibilities such as attending key meetings at host facilities, conducting presentations about FedEx Office’s product and service offerings, preparing detailed quotes for event planners, and monitoring the quality and timeliness of print and event-related jobs. The ESC also plays an active role in sharing potential business leads across the FedEx Office network, helping to drive new revenue opportunities within the hospitality sector.

Key competencies for this position include consultative selling expertise, strong organizational and communication skills, and an ability to work independently while fostering collaborative relationships internally. Preferred candidates will have prior B2B sales experience, particularly in hospitality and event management, along with proficiency in tools like Salesforce and Microsoft Office 365. The candidate must maintain a professional image at all times and demonstrate the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.

The position requires the ability to travel as needed, maintaining focus and effective communication over extended periods. Adherence to FedEx Office’s standard operating procedures, legal, HR, safety, and security policies is also essential. This role offers an exciting opportunity for those passionate about sales and customer service within the hospitality industry, promising a dynamic and rewarding career path with FedEx Office.
