Job Description

Valor Protection Safety Agency is a premier security services provider known for its commitment to integrity-first, performance-driven safety solutions. Operating primarily in Georgia and its surrounding regions, Valor Protection serves a diverse clientele spanning from high-profile venues to community events. Their reputation is built upon delivering security services with the utmost professionalism, visibility, and dedication to client satisfaction. As an established security agency, they emphasize maintaining a safe environment for all guests, staff, and assets across the spectrum of events they support. Valor Protection Safety Agency is looking to expand its Auxiliary Event Staffing Team by recruiting Event Safety Officers on a contractor basis. The employment type for this role is auxiliary staff with an as-needed, deployment-focused schedule that can vary significantly depending on event timing and location. Although the exact compensation details are to be determined, this role offers flexible, event-based assignments with opportunities for potential growth within the company, including supervisory or full-time positions. The primary location for deployment is the Metro Atlanta area; however, this role requires the willingness to travel to South Carolina for specific event assignments where transportation will be provided by the agency. Officers must have open availability with a preference for a flexible schedule spanning Sunday through Saturday and all shifts, as scheduled events occur throughout different days and times. Notable event dates include August 29, September 6, September 12, October 3, October 24, November 5, November 14, and November 21, with the possibility of additional dates as needed.

The Event Safety Officer position is designed for individuals who are reliable, professional, and adaptable to fast-paced environments. These officers serve as the visible security presence at event locations, monitor critical areas such as entrances, exits, and high-traffic zones, and assist with access control, credential checks, and guest support. Officers are expected to observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns while responding calmly and professionally to emergencies and incidents as they arise. Communication is a significant aspect of the role, requiring coordination with supervisors, team members, and event staff to uphold safety standards. A valuable component of the position includes adherence to strict site-specific post orders and safety procedures. The role also involves the documentation of reports and event logs to ensure comprehensive incident tracking. Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor at all times is essential to reflect the agency’s commitment to security excellence.

Working under the guidance of the Director of Operations, Safety Manager, or Site Supervisor, the Event Safety Officer acts as a critical component of the security team, enhancing the overall experience for attendees by ensuring a secure environment at each event. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in public safety at various event types and environments, expanding one’s skill set in event security and crowd management. Valor Protection Safety Agency seeks candidates who exhibit dependability, alertness, flexibility, calm under pressure, and strong team-oriented mindsets. These traits are crucial for successfully navigating the dynamic and often unpredictable nature of event security work while maintaining high standards of professionalism and safety.
