The Events & Production Manager at Legends Global plays a pivotal role as the primary client liaison responsible for guiding event planning, preparation, and execution while ensuring that all events comply with contracts, policies, and deadlines. This is a full-time role based on-site in Tucson, AZ, with a competitive salary and a generous benefits package. The successful candidate will be tasked with preparing detailed cost estimates, monitoring event operations closely, addressing any client concerns promptly, and coordinating seamlessly with internal departments to ensure facility readiness and overall client success.

The position goes beyond traditional event management to include advancing and executing production elements across multiple venues, requiring expertise in technical coordination, audiovisual production, rigging, and crew supervision. Responsibilities also encompass overseeing technical systems, preventive maintenance, and ensuring safety compliance according to OSHA regulations and Legends Global reporting policies. Acting as the facility's representative during events, the manager must possess the ability to swiftly resolve technical issues and maintain smooth event operations under pressure.

Candidates should have strong organizational abilities, multitasking skills, and the capacity to manage complex event schedules with stringent deadlines. Experience with systems such as Q-Sys, Dante Audio Networks, ETC Paradigm controls, and production-related software like AutoCAD and Social Tables is preferred. The role demands effective communication skills to manage diverse teams and foster positive client relationships while maintaining professional presentation and work ethics. Flexibility with work hours is essential, as the role may require long hours, weekend, and evening work, particularly during peak event periods.

This role also carries supervisory responsibilities, including interviewing, hiring, training employees, scheduling work, appraising performance, and addressing employee concerns in accordance with Legends Global policies and applicable laws. Physical demands include the ability to stand for long hours, occasional kneeling, climbing, exposure to loud noises, and the capability to lift or move objects up to 50 pounds. Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree in hospitality business sports-management production or related field preferred
  • 2-4 years experience in production management in corporate meeting entertainment organization club theater arena or equivalent
  • proficiency in audio visual operations rigging and other technical production systems
  • strong organizational skills

  • proficiency in Microsoft Office event software and venue management systems

  • experience with rigging preferred

  • forklift certification is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • proficient in Microsoft Office and equivalent venue management software AutoCAD experience preferred along with an advanced understanding of network infrastructure as it relates to audio-visual needs

Job Duties

  • serve as the primary point of contact for clients guiding them through event planning preparation and execution
  • interpret and explain contract provisions policies and procedures to clients
  • prepare cost estimates oversee billing and ensure adherence to deadlines
  • monitor event operations maintain close communication with clients and promptly address concerns
  • organize and prioritize workload to meet stringent event schedules
  • ensure all event details including floor plans room setups and insurance requirements are finalized
  • maintain thorough and complete event records
  • lead and or attend appropriate planning organization and other events and facility meetings in support of facility operations
  • provide clear concise and timely communication of directives to other departments to assure facility readiness and client success
  • work directly with live entertainment and corporate productions and tours to advance all technical a v production rigging facility logistics and hospitality requirements for shows in all TCC venues
  • supervise booking and supervision of crew for events through local labor including stage setups rigging audio visual and lighting
  • manage preventive maintenance and repairs on all a v equipment maintaining service records and inventories of equipment
  • coordinate the scheduling of stage equipment repair annual equipment inspections safety checks and maintenance
  • adhere to Legends Global reporting policies
  • ensure compliance with all safety and OSHA workplace regulations relating to event production performances
  • act as the facility representative during events to address technical issues and ensure seamless event execution
  • oversee work schedules for Event Coordinators
  • maintain and update lists of necessary repairs and improvements for record keeping
