Marriott International is a leading global hospitality company renowned for its diverse portfolio of brands and commitment to employee well-being, development, and inclusivity. JW Marriott Dallas stands out by fostering a workplace culture that emphasizes camaraderie, continuous learning, and a strong dedication to guest satisfaction. This establishment not only offers guests memorable stays but also supports associates in reaching their fullest potential through training, recognition, and a supportive work environment.
This position is a full-time management role offering an annual salary ranging from $56,000 to $72,000, with eligibility for bonuses based on performance. As an Event Manager at JW Marriott Dallas, you will take a pivotal role in orchestrating a seamless, high-quality event experience from the initial coordination through the post-event phase. Your responsibilities will include preparing all event documentation and collaborating closely with Sales teams, various property departments, and customers to ensure every event's success. This role primarily involves managing events of average complexity but requires strategic thinking to identify opportunities to maximize revenue through up-selling and enhancement offerings.
The Event Manager serves as the crucial link between sales and service teams, ensuring the smooth transition of event details and a memorable customer experience throughout. You will oversee group room blocks, meeting spaces, and logistical arrangements, and use your judgment to resolve operational challenges by working collaboratively with staff and customers. Your role will also focus heavily on customer service excellence, empowering employees to deliver high standards and encouraging continuous improvement based on guest feedback and your expertise. Leadership is a key component, as you will conduct pre- and post-event meetings, facilitate communication, and foster a culture of positivity and professionalism.
Moreover, this role supports sales and marketing by forecasting revenues, assisting in the sales process, and strategically up-selling products and services during the event lifecycle. Human resource functions are also integral, including reviewing guest satisfaction results, providing staff feedback, and contributing to corrective action plans aimed at enhancing service quality. JW Marriott Dallas promotes a diverse and inclusive work environment where associates are respected and valued, aligning with Marriott International's commitment to equal employment opportunities and non-discrimination.
Joining JW Marriott Dallas as an Event Manager means being part of a prestigious brand that not only leads in luxury hospitality but also invests deeply in the development and well-being of its associates. This role offers a unique opportunity to advance your career in event management within a luxury hotel setting that celebrates innovation, excellence, and a unified team ethos. Perfect for professionals who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences while growing professionally within a supportive global organization.
