The Events Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in various facets of event preparation, including coordinating timelines, booking venues, arranging food and beverage services, and overseeing room setups to meet client specifications. Additionally, this position will support budget planning activities, track expenses, compile detailed reports, and maintain accurate data related to all events and conferences. The position accommodates a work schedule primarily during Monday to Friday business hours but may include evenings and weekend events, making flexibility and reliability essential attributes.
The targeted salary for this role is $18.00 per hour, based on experience, and the position is benefits eligible, offering a competitive package to support employee wellness and satisfaction. Travel may be required on occasion, and candidates must possess or be able to obtain a valid Oklahoma Driver's License within 30 days of hire. A background check is mandatory prior to employment. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 48 months of related experience in lieu of the degree for total of 60 months experience
- 12 months experience in event planning and coordination, outreach or public relations
- Valid Oklahoma Driver's License or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work Monday-Friday business hours with availability for evening and weekend events
- Willingness to undergo a background check
