This includes detailed tasks such as menu planning, agenda setting, managing hotel meeting services, arranging hospitality amenities, and responding to special VIP requests. Additionally, you will be responsible for thoroughly reviewing contracts and facilitating clear communications before, during, and after events with the relevant hotel staff to ensure that all aspects run smoothly and standards of service remain high throughout.

This position also involves assisting with site inspections when needed and participating in or leading various event meetings and staff gatherings to ensure every event detail aligns with client expectations and company protocols. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone who demonstrates initiative, efficient problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage assignments independently and in collaboration with the broader team. The position offers a professional and supportive environment, encouraging the development of strong organizational skills and interpersonal communication necessary for success in the hospitality industry.

The workplace culture at this hotel is vibrant and employee-centric, highlighted by numerous perks such as free and discounted room nights at Hyatt hotels worldwide, celebratory events, and volunteer opportunities that encourage camaraderie and engagement. Complimentary nutritional meals are provided for colleagues, alongside access to a range of exclusive retailer discounts via PerkSpot, discounted parking options, and reduced-price annual DART passes to ease commuter costs. The company fosters wellness, offering full medical benefits from the first 30 days of employment, a 401K plan with company matching, an employee stock purchase plan, paid vacation and sick leave, as well as family support through new child leave, paid family bonding time, and adoption assistance. Educational growth is equally supported through tuition reimbursement, and mental health is prioritized via free access to Headspace for meditation and recuperation. All these factors combine to promote a balanced, fulfilling work-life experience for employees committed to excellence in event coordination and hospitality service.
