The role of Event Server at Constellation is a part-time position based at the Florida Commissary in Miami. The position offers competitive compensation at $24 per hour and involves working in a fast-paced, engaging environment where excellent customer service and attention to detail are paramount. The Event Server will have the opportunity to interact with a diverse clientele across a range of catered events, contributing to memorable dining experiences. Key responsibilities include greeting customers warmly, explaining menu items clearly, taking and delivering orders efficiently, and following up to ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, the Event Server ensures that all service activities comply with health code regulations, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills, an eye for detail, and a strong knowledge of food service. Experience of at least one year in a foodservice environment, preferably in catering or a restaurant setting, is required. The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to climb stairs, stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 40 pounds. Availability to work weekends, especially Saturdays and Sundays, as well as holidays, is essential.
