The role reports to the Security Manager and is classified as part-time hourly, non-exempt employment. This position is integral in ensuring that every event runs smoothly by securing the premises, monitoring for potential risks or disturbances, and assisting in emergency response and crowd control as needed.

The Event Security officer is responsible for patrolling all areas of the arena, including parking lots, to deter unauthorized access and to protect property throughout move-ins and move-outs of trade shows and other events. This position requires individuals who can perform thorough inspections, report incidents accurately, and handle any disturbances with professionalism and tact. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to interact positively with guests, staff, vendors, and law enforcement officials while upholding the highest standards of conduct and appearance.

Flexibility in schedule is required, as the position frequently involves extended or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays to support the diverse range of events held at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
