Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • minimum 1 year of experience in event technology sales or hospitality
  • technical aptitude and computer proficiency
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to maintain accurate customer information in CRM
  • ability to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • physical ability to meet job demands such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs
  • willingness to travel between hotel locations

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • at least 1 year of experience in event technology sales or hospitality
  • prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus
  • knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
  • technical aptitude and computer proficiency
  • strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach
  • prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner to customers
  • collaborate with vendors and internal departments to capture and service events
  • attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and venue meetings to support customer event experience
  • understand event cost structure and incorporate profitability guidelines into solutions
  • cultivate and maintain relationships with customers and venue personnel
  • research and understand customer history to personalize experiences
