Job Requirements
- BS/BA or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant sales experience preferably in technology sales or hospitality
- Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and on-call
- Ability to work in hotel or convention center environments
Job Qualifications
- BS/BA or equivalent experience
- 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience preferred
- Prior sales experience in audiovisual is a plus
- Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes preferred
- Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach
- Effectively prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner
- Collaborate with vendors and other company departments to capture and service events
- Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and venue meetings to support the customer event experience
- Understand event cost structure and incorporate this into solution designs
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, venue personnel, and Encore departments
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline ensuring achievement of revenue targets
- Update and manage customer information accurately in CRM
- Support sales forecasting and adopt all related SOPs
- Maintain knowledge of new product and service offerings and emerging technologies
