Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in sales or hospitality
  • Technical aptitude and proficiency with computers
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage customer relationships and sales processes
  • Capability to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends
  • Physical ability to meet job demands such as standing, walking, and occasional lifting

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Encore or equivalent role
  • Experience in technology sales or hospitality preferred
  • Prior audiovisual sales experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry sales processes
  • Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Drive results by soliciting and securing business through a proactive consultative sales approach
  • Prepare and present quotes and proposals in a timely manner
  • Collaborate effectively with vendors and internal departments to capture and service events
  • Attend site visits, pre-conference planning meetings, and venue meetings to support customer event experiences
  • Understand event cost structure and incorporate this into solution designs according to profitability guidelines
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with customers, venue personnel, and supporting departments
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure CRM accuracy and timely updates
