Job Description
Topgolf is a leading sports entertainment company that has revolutionized the way millions of people experience golf by merging it seamlessly with food, beverages, events, and entertainment. The company operates vibrant, high-energy venues that not only offer a fun and engaging atmosphere but also provide ample opportunities for individuals to build rewarding and serious careers. Known for its innovative approach, Topgolf creates an inclusive environment where guests of all skill levels can come together to enjoy golf and entertainment in a social and dynamic setting. Each venue is a hub of activity, characterized by a strong focus on performance, guest engagement, and operational excellence, making it an exciting place to work and grow professionally.
The role of Event Sales Manager at Topgolf is designed for high-achieving sales professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This position requires ownership of the full sales cycle, from the initial inquiry to the successful execution of events that exceed client expectations. The ideal candidate is motivated by results, exhibits discipline in daily outreach, and excels at building and nurturing client relationships to drive repeat business. As a key contributor to revenue growth, the Event Sales Manager focuses on both inbound leads and proactive outbound business development, ensuring a robust pipeline and high conversion rates.
This role is more than just sales; it demands a collaborative spirit with close partnership across operations and culinary teams to guarantee flawless event delivery. The position demands flexibility, including the willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak seasons and special events. By embodying Topgolf's core values of fun, one team, excellence, courage, and caring, the Event Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining Topgolf's reputation for exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities include managing a high-volume inbound sales pipeline, executing consistent outbound prospecting efforts, conducting engaging venue tours, preparing and presenting compelling proposals, and closing sales opportunities. Furthermore, the manager is expected to identify upsell opportunities to maximize account value while ensuring comprehensive communication through accurate banquet event orders (BEOs) to avoid day-of-event issues. Staying sharp on business performance metrics and partnering with leadership to improve sales procedures also forms a vital part of the job.
Topgolf offers competitive annual salary ranges from $40,400 to $70,700, depending on experience and performance. In addition to financial compensation, employees enjoy benefits such as free play, discounted food, health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) match, and access to mental well-being platforms. The company emphasizes equal opportunity, diversity, and inclusivity in its hiring practices and maintains a respectful workplace free from discrimination and harassment. Individuals eager to join a dynamic, growth-oriented team at one of the most recognizable brands in sports entertainment will find this role rewarding and challenging. If you are a results-driven sales professional with a passion for hospitality and event management, Topgolf invites you to be part of their innovative and energetic community.
