Job Description

Topgolf is a leading sports entertainment company that has revolutionized the way millions of people experience golf. The company operates high-energy, high-volume venues that blend golf, food and beverage, events, and entertainment into one unforgettable experience. Known for its dynamic and energetic atmosphere, Topgolf provides a unique space where people can enjoy golf regardless of their skill level while socializing and enjoying great food and drinks. As a result, Topgolf has become a popular destination for parties, corporate events, and casual gatherings. Beyond its entertainment offering, Topgolf is recognized as a place where individuals can build rewarding and long-term careers in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. The company fosters a culture focused on performance, guest experience, and teamwork, encouraging employees to grow professionally while contributing to a fun and inclusive atmosphere.

The role of Event Sales Manager at Topgolf is a critical position responsible for driving revenue growth through managing the full sales cycle of event bookings. This role requires a highly motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-moving and high-volume setting. The Event Sales Manager must be driven to maintain and grow a strong sales pipeline, handling inbound leads efficiently while actively prospecting for new business opportunities. The position demands ownership of every stage of the sales process — from the initial inquiry to venue tours, proposal presentations, and closing events. A key part of the role is delivering exceptional, personalized client experiences that convert first-time customers into repeat clients.

In addition to sales duties, the Event Sales Manager works closely with the operations and culinary teams to ensure flawless event execution and maintains accurate and detailed communication, particularly through Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), to avoid any day-of-event issues. This position requires availability for a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak seasons and special events. Success in this role is measured by the ability to consistently achieve meaningful revenue targets, maintain pipeline health, and deliver top-tier service that enhances the Topgolf brand reputation.

This position also calls for strong leadership and collaboration skills, as the Event Sales Manager participates in daily team huddles, weekly sales meetings, and one-on-one sessions with sales leadership to align on priorities and execution standards. The candidate must demonstrate Topgolf's core values of Fun, One Team, Excellence, Courage, and Caring. Candidates typically possess at least five years of progressive sales experience, particularly in event sales or hospitality, with a preference for those with leadership experience and a background in hospitality management or business administration. Proficiency with CRM systems like Salesforce and strong reporting skills are essential.

Topgolf offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, a free mental well-being platform, employee discounts on food and play, and more. As an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, Topgolf fosters an environment where all associates can thrive and contribute to the company’s ongoing success. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and ambitious sales professional to advance their career within a globally recognized sports and entertainment brand.
