Operating within the Greater Boston and Cambridge markets, LifeWorks Restaurant Group approaches every engagement as an opportunity to provide a sensory and memorable experience that enhances company culture and elevates amenities to a new level. The team’s commitment to transparency, creativity, and high-quality service ensures that partnerships are successful from space design and delivery through marketing and event execution. As part of the broader Aramark organization, a global leader in food and facilities services operating in 15 countries, LifeWorks Restaurant Group benefits from a vast network of resources and dedication to employee development, diversity, and inclusion.

The Event Sales Manager at LifeWorks Restaurant Group plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth through building and maintaining strong relationships in the local community. This salaried position, offering a competitive compensation range of $75,000 to $85,000, demands a highly proactive sales approach focused on growing the venue's event business. The Event Sales Manager is responsible for canvassing businesses, organizations, and individuals in the Greater Boston area, positioning the venue as a premier destination for celebrations, corporate gatherings, and a variety of catered events. The role requires strong networking skills, effective lead generation, and the ability to convert opportunities into confirmed bookings.

In addition to sales, the Event Sales Manager serves as a collaborative partner within the team, guiding clients through the event planning process from the initial inquiry to the successful execution of their event. This involves understanding client needs, developing detailed proposals and contracts, and coordinating with on-site event planners to ensure a seamless customer experience. The ideal candidate has experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in catering or banquet services, and possesses extensive knowledge of the Cambridge and Greater Boston market. Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, excellent communication, and a creative, proactive approach to sales are key to success.

LifeWorks and Aramark emphasize a culture of inclusivity and equal employment opportunity, where diversity is respected and valued. Employees benefit from comprehensive offerings, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plans such as 401(k), and paid time off including parental leave and disability coverage. The Event Sales Manager position requires availability to work event-based hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, recognizing the dynamic nature of the hospitality environment. Candidates are encouraged to demonstrate leadership qualities and digital literacy with tools like Microsoft Office Suite and other databases.
