Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in event planning, hospitality, marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years experience in event production or event planning
  • Proven experience managing large-scale events with 500+ attendees
  • Strong skills in project management, client communication, and vendor negotiation
  • Ability to create and interpret event designs and layouts
  • Proficient in coordinating logistics including vendor management and on-site event oversight
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Availability for evening and weekend work
  • Reliable transportation for local travel within metro Atlanta
  • Flexibility to work hybrid schedule combining remote and on-site event work

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in event production, event planning, experiential marketing, hospitality, or large-scale event execution
  • Experience producing events with 500+ attendees preferred
  • Strong understanding of event layouts, floor plans, guest flow, and production logistics
  • Experience creating or working with renders, mood boards, mockups, or event decks
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation experience
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • Polished communication and relationship-building skills with clients and stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly
  • Available for occasional evenings and weekends for event execution
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout metro Atlanta

Job Duties

  • Lead planning and execution for corporate events, conferences, experiential activations, weddings, nonprofit events, luxury celebrations, and private experiences
  • Translate client goals into creative event concepts, layouts, and guest experiences
  • Develop and manage event timelines, production schedules, run-of-show documents, budgets, and project plans
  • Create and oversee event floor plans, mockups, and render concepts to support event flow and production execution
  • Research and gather design inspiration, decor ideas, experiential moments, activation concepts, and creative elements to elevate events
  • Collaborate with AV, lighting, staging, fabrication, decor, and design teams to bring concepts to life
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for vendors, venues, clients, caterers, rentals, florals, entertainment, fabrication teams, and production partners
  • Source vendors, negotiate pricing, manage contracts, and ensure deliverables are completed on time
  • Build strong client relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and proactive problem-solving
  • Manage multiple event timelines, deadlines, and deliverables simultaneously
  • Coordinate production logistics including venue walkthroughs, staffing, rentals, power needs, equipment, load-in/load-out, transportation, permits, and guest flow
  • Anticipate challenges and proactively solve issues before they impact execution
  • Attend and oversee event production and execution on-site
  • Manage vendors, staff, timelines, and client expectations in real time
  • Ensure the guest experience aligns with the creative vision and production standards
